David RobinsonLincoln Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology in Topeka, Kansas.Since 1976, Dr. Robinson has been in the private practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology with the Lincoln Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology in Topeka, KS. Lincoln Center is a large, single specialty practice with two offices in Topeka and services multiple clinics in outlying communities. All of its members serve as Assistant Clinical Professors for the University of Kansas School of Medicine, with third year residents rotating through the practice for three months at a time. Since 1995, Dr. Robinson's practice has been in the evaluation and treatment of female incontinence and voiding disorders and pelvic organ prolapse. His office is fully equipped and staffed with personnel able to provide both surgical and nonsurgical treatment of these entities. Dr. Robinson's concentration has been on the vaginal approach to the surgical correction of prolapse and incontinence. He has been involved in the research and development of various devices now being used in vaginal pelvic floor surgery. In order to advance this approach, he remains an active member of organizations such as the American Urogynecology Society, the International Continence Society, the Society of Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeons, and the International Society of Pelvic Neuromodulation. In addition, he has continued the involvement with the medical community by serving in the past as President of the Shawnee County Medical Society, Medical Staff President of Stormont Vail Regional Medical Center, and on the Board of Directors of the Topeka Blood Bank. Currently, he is serving on the Board of Trustees of the Stormont Vail Regional Medical Center and on its Finance subcommittee as well as on the Finance Committee of KAAMCO, physicians owned medical liability insurance company.
