Live Presentations

Getting live presentations of surgical procedures from the world's leading surgical centers to the viewer used to be a logistical and technical challenge. However, leveraging innovative video technology developed for news media, SurgeryU can now set up quickly and transmit high quality video and audio of surgical procedures over low bandwidth connection.

The use of live presentations to communicate surgical procedures is an engaging and preferred method of demonstrating and shared learning among all audiences. SurgeryU has now also extended the reach of its surgical video library to mobile devices such as iPod®, iPhone®, iPod Touch®, and Windows® Mobile-enabled devices.

In addition, SurgeryU's multi-layered security approach to content publication, distribution, and version control provides holistic assurance that the transmission of confidential and proprietary surgical procedure videos and live presentations is fully audited and meets the highest industry security requirements at all times.

SurgeryU's multi-user functionality also enables multiple users to access live presentations on a single computer. This functionality is particularly useful in shared environments. To ensure security, SurgeryU authenticates each user and gives them access only to demonstrations targeted to them.
