Video Submissions
SurgeryU accepts a wide variety of videos in varying length and formats (including asf, asx, avi, divx, dv, dvx, m4v, mov, mp4, mpeg, mpg, qt, wmv, 3g2, 3gp, 3ivx and 3vx). SurgeryU also provides video editing services at a nominal fee to ensure your video is presented as a clear and concise fashion. Videos can be submitted as follows:

Video Editing. Please first contact Scott Winer Productions and send your video in editable format to the address specified in the submit video form. Upon receipt of your video submission by SurgeryU, your video will be managed by Scott Winer Productions on your behalf. Your work with Scott Winer Productions as your video editor provider involves your direct communication with Scott Winer Productions at this point of time and is not the responsibility of SurgeryU. After editing is completed, you will receive your edited video for review and approval. Please follow the guidelines specified to ensure that the editing is performed correctly. Editing fees are generally $250 for the first hour of video length and $100 for each following hour. However, a firm quote will be provided by Scott Winer Productions prior to commencement of any video editing.
Scott Winer is a five-time award-winning producer and director. He has been a producer and director since 1999, directing more than 200 live sports, news and music shows. He won a Telly Award and Davey Award as Supervising Producer and Director of the 2005 variety show OnCUSE and a 2007 KAB Award from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters as Producer of the sports interview special KU Q&A.
He founded Scott Winer Productions in 2000 and serves as Executive Producer. Currently, Winer is Senior Producer of Mildly Off the Wall, an independent sketch comedy series based in Lawrence, Kan., and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production. He also serves as the programs Lead Director, Graphics Designer and Editor.
Over the last 10 years, Winer has worked in various roles for CBS Sports, Fox Sports, ESPN, Fox Sports Net, Fox College Sports, KUJH-TV (The University of Kansas) and DomeTV (Syracuse University), including broadcasts of the AFC Championship, NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, FedEx Orange Bowl, and SEC Football Championship.
The son of Wendy K. Winer, he was introduced to laparoscopic surgery videos at an early age, often observing and later assisting his mother during edit sessions. For many years, he accompanied her to international meetings and conferences, gaining further knowledge of innovative surgical procedures and technologies as well as the different forms in which they are presented. He now combines his knowledge of gynecologic laparoscopy, television broadcasting and video editing as a Video Editor for SurgeryU, Inc.
Winer graduated from The University of Kansas with a degree in Geography. Born and raised in Atlanta, he currently resides in Lawrence, Kansas.
